Bridgestone Golf helps Fred Couples gain win on Champions Tour

COVINGTON, Ga. -- In Harrison, NY, this weekend, Fred Couples made his long awaited return to competition in grand fashion, recording his first career Champions Tour major victory at the Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship. Couples outlasted the wind and rain of the final round at historic Westchester Country Club to card an even par 71 on Sunday, putting him into a sudden death playoff. On the third playoff hole, Couples displayed the precision shot-making that made him the leader in Greens in Regulation for the week, stiffing a wedge to three feet to make birdie.
