PGA America announce Justin Timberlake as Ambassador for U.S. Team at Ryder Cup

The Ken Jowdy Report brings you this news. The Professional Golfers Association (PGA) of America has named Justin Timberlake as their first-ever Team Ambassador for the Ryder Cup. The historic Medinah at the Country Club in Illinois will play host to the 39^thinstallment of the Ryder Cup. This is the first time Ryder Cup has come to Illinois.

Trio of LSU golfers set for U.S. Amateur Championship

Although school won’t quite be in session by mid-August, it’ll still be a busy time for several LSU golfers. Rising junior Andrew Presley, sophomore Stewart Jolly and incoming freshman Zach Wright have qualified for the U.S. Amateur Championship at Cherry Hills Country Club in Cherry Hills Village, Colo., on Aug. 13-19.
